Step 11: You'll
notice that you have 3 partitions. Division 1 is a system reserved. Leave this
partition alone. Division 2 is a 30GB primary partition that was created in the
previous step. The third partition is retained, which means that it is not in
use. However, you can tailor it and use it as a second storage drive. This can
be done after Windows installation is completed so I will leave it for now.
Select partition 2 (Primary partition). This is where I will
install Windows 8 Click Next to continue.
Step 12: At this
point Windows starts copying files to the hard drive and start the
installation. This process could take several minutes depending on your
computer specifications. Now is a good time to grab yourself a coffee.
Step 13: When all
necessary files are copied Windows 8 will automatically restart as shown
Step 14: You have
to go through various progress bar and information messages as shown in the
following pictures. Windows might automatically reboot a second time.
Step 15: You are
now presented with a "Let's go through some basics" screen. It will
automatically select the Customize option.
Step 16: Choose
the PC name and customize the color.
Step 17: Here you
can select express configuration or select customize. I will choose custom make
further customization.
Step 18: Select
Yes, turn on sharing and related devices.
